The deafening crash, of falling building subsides.
Mark sat still, waiting for more destruction around him.
When none came, he offered up a short prayer. This was his lucky day! By some amazing luck none of the debris had fallen his way. Moving out from the doorway, he moved up the street, staying away from the recently collapsed building.
As Mark turned the corner he saw his target, disorientated from the collapse, but otherwise unhurt.
He crept up and whispered “Are you ok?”
Mary looked at him, fear in her eyes and said “No, but we have to keep moving”
